Bayaan is built for creators who cannot afford leaks, sloppy retention, or surprise model training. This page explains what we collect, how we handle uploads, and how to reach us.

What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email and basic account details needed to run the service. When you upload video or audio, we process that media to generate captions, translations, and exports you request.
We use standard analytics to understand how the marketing site is used. We do not sell personal data and we do not serve ads.
How we use uploads
Your uploads are used only to deliver the features you ask for — transcription, editing, styling, and export. Nothing you upload is used to train shared models available to other customers.
For Pro and Studio customers, we offer zero-retention processing and region-locked rendering on request.
Retention
Files are purged thirty days after export by default. You can delete projects sooner from your account. If you need a shorter retention window, contact us before upload.

Sharing
We do not sell data. We share information only with infrastructure providers required to operate Bayaan (hosting, storage, email delivery) under contractual obligations to protect your content.
Security
We encrypt every upload in transit using TLS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Captions also support accessibility: readable subtitles help viewers who rely on text alternatives, aligned with WCAG guidance on captions.
Cookies & analytics
The marketing site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and page usage. We also use the Meta Pixel to measure visits from Facebook and Instagram ads and which pages people view. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

Your rights & deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and uploaded projects at any time.
